Porsche 997: Family Edition
It's been a busy few weeks @ home with my new baby girl (born June 2). My wife finally succumbed to the pressure and we took the girls on a short road trip in the 997 this morning to the park and then a quick lunch. Anyone who tells you that a 911 isn't a practical family car is misinformed
P.S. for anyone wondering, the install is extremely secure on both the rear facing infant seat, and my 2.5 yr daughter's forward facing seat. There is zero 'play' front to back or side to side. Safety first.

Safety First Scenera at Walmart Canada (sold under the Cosco brand at Walmart in the US). You do need to remove seat back/bottom in the car, and prop up the child seat using some form of cushion (pool noodles, towels, etc) to make a tight fit. Finally the seatbelt strap must be guided through the rear facing belt path to get a secure install - the forward facing belt path does not work well in the 997 due to the position of where the seatbelt clip clicks in place. Some may argue this isn't "correct" but after spending >10 hrs in the back seat working with different seats and different installation options, this is the only way to get the seat secure enough in my opinion.

Congrats! Cute kids! My daughters are 5 & 8. I'm 6'2", but if I raise the seat up as high as it goes it comes a bit forward and there is surprisingly enough room for them to sit behind me and for me to still be comfortable enough to drive safely.
