Hi All! New to the forum but have been reading/researching for years. Just purchased my first Pcar and have been blessed with some unseasonably good weather to allow me the opportunity to get out and enjoy it.
Here’s my new-to-me, 2005 C2. It came to me through my local Porsche Center (Calgary) and, before you ask, it has been scoped and the LME IMS retrofit have been completed. Needless to say, I’m very excited to be part of the community and can’t wait to rack up the miles/KMs. I greatly respect and appreciate the wealth of knowledge here, so thank you all as you’ve unknowingly contributed to my search.

Hmm. 2006 does not have a servicable IMS without splitting the case. But FWIW you should have the larger more durable bearing and with that low of mileage likely nowhere near any issues.
Very nice find.

Correct and thanks for calling out! I fat fingered my post; the car is actually and ‘05 (m96). Hence the IMS retrofit. Apologies for confusion…rookie post mistake no.2 as I posted this twice. Yikes!
