That's a monster of a car, sort of the turbo version of the GTS that would come later. Interesting that the 0-60 time of 3.7 is only a tenth faster that the NA GTS. (Edit: Total 911 says the GTS 0-60 time is 4.6, my memory must be failing).
My first, and only, GT2 experience was in a 996 GT2 driving the twists of Mulholland Hwy headed toward PCH. Holy crap!!!!

The GT2 is a new level of speed for me, so I'll be slowly easing into it this summer.

Insurance payout (less deductible) work out, or did they hassle you? I am re-evaluating USAA coverage after 40 years with them.
I had Porsche of Burlingame replace my windshield under CPO- the seal was improperly installed by the dealer when it was CPO certified for the previous owner. P of B did a great job on my new glass.
