Best of luck with the new car...T

Newly purchased 6-11-2016. Nice example of a well cared 2006 C2S. 85K miles, $32K

Congrats! Need to do a comparative thread on your thoughts compared to the 993.

Yes, as soon as I log a few more hours behind the wheel. I have not put the beast in Sport Mode yet, hahaha...

My question to you, will the C2S drift like my 993. I used to love pitching her around corners!

Should drift a little in Sport mode or for full drift, you'll need to push the PSM button on the lower right of the center console to turn off the Stability Management.

Looks like a really nice car at a great price. congrats.

Just received delivery yesterday of my purchased-sight-unseen first P car. Better than expected- delivery experience and condition of my dream-car. The smell of the full leather interior was something I couldn't get in pics!

Within minutes of shoehorning it in my LA garage, I had the amber indicators switched out for clears.

Next on the list is to drain and refill the gearbox with PTX. Even though it shifts very smoothly at its current 9,800 miles, I figure it doesn't hurt to consider it a replacement of of break-in fluid with hopefully evolved specs of the replacement fluid.

Well I did a drift in turn 10 at VIR that was not intentional. Probably the most dangerous turn on the track and I was chasing a fast GT500. I gave it throttle and it responded beautifully. I wonder how much of the save was me and how much was PASM.

I really have not tried to make it drift. I think the rear is planted so well that if it breaks loose it might be ugly. Look forward to your comparison.

How hot was the oil temp?!

If it was me (and I didn't have to work tomorrow), I'd wait until ~7:30 pm tonight, fill up the stead with petrol, pack some snacks & lots of liquid, and point the 997 into NorAZ!

Then I'd check into a hotel/motel in Flag and sleep and sit in a pool tomorrow and drive again on Weds eve...rinse & repeat...

PS 120F is nasty so be safe, and seriously, take advantage of the nearly full moon...

PSS I hope that you have ventilated seats!(?)
