Well, this wasen´t one of my best monets in life.
It was late at night, and i was on the way home from my office, i really was at least 250 km/h or more when suddenly the power was fallen down, i was the feeling like chewing gum was in the engine, but just for an second, then it stopped suddenly and i was able to press the clutch, but it was allready over, the connecting rod with piston was broken, and everything in the back was suddently death....and i rolled out in the dark.... luckely there was an exit nearby, so i was safe ( not any more on the german autobahn at night ). i looked under my car, and oil and water and everything was flowing out... luckily no fire was out there, but it smelled like hell. and i don´t want to see or even remember to this view...
So the day after my dealer checked al the stuff and there only was one way: A NEW ENGINE must be built out of new parts from Zuffenhausen, because PORSCHE won´t sell ( or even have ) any rebuild engines on stock.... so we have to do it with the original parts from Porsche ( don´t ask about the costs- luckily guarantee !! )
blow... what year is the targa, could this be IMS related? best of luck with all your new pieces...
