Yes, it has. I don't have covered parking at work so when the temps get over 110, I don't even drive the car. It's not worth commuting in traffic just to leave it out in the scorching sun all day.

Another pic of mine.

I take meticulous care of her. My wife calls her my mistress. I tell her I get to rub her down all I want and drive her hard and she never complains.

Now has 64k miles. So I put about 9k miles per year on. I do several track days a year and the biggest maintenance issue so far, besides the usual brakes and oil, was a new clutch around 56k miles. Still drives like a champ and looks new for a 997 ;^)

Very nice! You seem to have made some modifications to the outside. Details?

Perfect example of a very well-maintained car that is not a garage Queen and has been driven and cared for properly. The perfect ownership experience in my opinion. My car has a tick over 55,000 miles on it and it's an 09, but I continually try to keep it looking nice even though I drive it fairly often. Most people who comment can't believe the car is 7 years old.

Well said.....I would buy that call all day long over a 5,000 garage and trailer queen.

It's all about maintaining your vehicle both mechanically and cosmetically. Great example on my end is the picture below of an IS300 I purchased brand new in March of 2001. Sold it last December with 189,000 miles on it. Still looked as new as the day I bought it...other than some wheels and ride height mods.
