I bought this tool from the Ebay link and it came in 2 or 3 days. Although it said that the tool shipped from China on the Ebay listing it actually came from somewhere in California, hence the short shipping time.
Like everyone else, mine came with an instruction manual only in Chinese. I did some searching around and found this translation in English for a rebranded but identical product:
for 2011 cars, i believe there is a reset service interval setting in the 'instrument cluster' module. also you will have to pull out the fuse for the instrument cluster for about a minute as well i believe.
the exact instructions for certain are on the forum somewhere as my friend with a 2011 did the reset on my driveway and we added the info to one of the durmetric threads a while back.

I go to the Instrument Cluster section and I see Service Interval Display. I toggle this to Not Operable (or whatever the NO choice is).
BUT my dashboard continues to say that my service is overdue.
How do I reset or disable the service interval reminder?
jhbrennan: unfortunately there was no info for me on that page.
myw: I KNOW that I remember in the past reading those instructions you mention but I don't see them now. I'll pull that fuse and report back.
Yeah...sorry, I tried to search the thread too and all I saw were two posts where they reported they couldn't reset. You wouldn't think it would take special steps to accomplish.
It's under the "Commands" sub menu, not the "Coding" one.
And this module might be one of those that need to be reset after coding changes. So if you disable the warning messages entirely in the coding tab, you need to reset the module under the commands sub menu, or pull the fuse, to have the new coding values take effect.
Temporarily pulling the Instrument Cluster fuse after toggling the Service Interval Display item in the Durametric DOES seem to have made the Service Warning display on the instrument panel go away.
I recently purchased the Enthusiast Durametric to reset the oil and service reminder after I did the oil and some other items on 2013 Cayenne ... In the Instrument cluster section under commands .. for the reminder reset .. there were little yellow triangles ... does anyone know what these mean ? Also the oil reminder seemed to get reset but the service reminder did not even after turning the ignition all the way off and on again . Any ideas ? Thanks, Bob
