How do I reset the service warning

Drifting
Durametric could only reset the intervals, both oil and service. For oil, its not so critical as 10k miles and 1 yr is the default. For the service interval, its more critical, since the next service interval isn't typically in 2 yrs/20k miles as is the case with a Durametric reset. I'm not sure this cheaper tool can do a proper setting beyond a generic default reset.

Excellent. You have saved me a bunch of money. Thank you. If it also works with Lotus and Alfa Romeo I will have your child.
Edit: I assume that when you reset it goes back to the factory 10k miles OR one year? I always hit the year before the mileage which is why I ask.

Yes, it resets to 10k/1yr. I also forgot to add - no need for a PC either.

It will be 2 weeks until I get it.
Do you just turn the ignition on, plug the device in, then it will walk you through the procedure?

Thank you so much, i'm glad to see 991 on the screen. I just ordered one from eBay. I made an offer for $40 shipped and they accepted. Hah.

One side effect is the time is also reset, but no big deal.
