Thoughts on this price for a C2? The current owner bought it CPO so I would be the third owner. The car was a weekend car for the current owner.

color? price is good if its white/silver bad if its gree/red. color has a big impact on price.
PDK+chrono is good ! most base carreras with PDK dont have chrono and you WANT chrono on a pdk.

That is true. Color has a big impact on resale. Silver carries a $4K premium in my neck of the woods.

Its Black on Black, exactly the color combo I want. Second for me would be Dark Gray on Black.
I'm trying to convince myself a non-S is fine as a first P car. Perhaps I'll get a GT3 991 in the future.

I have been told that the PDK is a good transmission. I have never considered anything other than 6sp manual in the past. Anyone have thoughts to share on the PDK? Also, what is chrono?
Thanks!
Thanks!

FWIW, I recently paid $76K for a 2010 C2S. Silver with 32K miles an original sticker of $115K. It was a dealer lease return. Seems high but dealer put in $4K worth of work (new tires, etc) b4 listing it.

If you are trying to convince yourself a non-S is fine then you should wait until a S in within your budget. That feeling is horrible and costly.

Any other details on the car you can share? Without knowing much more about the car, my gut feel is that if you LOVE the car (sounds like a good option package for a base carrera), the price is decent. I am tempted to push you toward an S for a bit more money.

non S is fine, unless you WANT an S. black on black with those options via private sale is a smidge high I think, but not terrible IF thats the car you want. If you are ok with green there are a bunch of 09 C2S's with CPO in the high 50's on porsche.com

i have a 2009 base Carrera with similar options and same color, although mine is a six speed.
i have no regrets at all. The car is phenomenal to me and a real pleasure to drive.
I paid $65K a year ago, CPO with seven thousand miles. Your deal sound good to me.

Price is driving my main consideration for this particular car. Private party sales tax will save me over $5k in taxes alone. A similar S car at a dealer priced in the mid 6's is going to run $70 out the door so a $15k difference is nice.

What kind of traffic are you going to encounter? If stop go then PDK ok. Paddle shifters make it better. Sport chrono will change shift throttle map with PDK. Also launch control and timing function which I never use.
If twisties and you like to row the gears the 6 sp will make it more enjoyable. I drive both. Track the gt3.

I got my 2011 4s PDK a few months ago and absolutely love it. I have always had 5/6 speeds before and still have my 6sp BMW Z8. Love both! They both offer a different driving experience - both very enjoyable and fun. PDK is not a slush box automatic! I typically drive with Sports on - PASM on normal. In stop and go traffic I switch to full manual and once road opens up I go back to Sports, Sports Plus is aggressive, but in my opinion not suitable for daily or regular road driving. Track only. Overall PDK is awesome.
