Does porsche make a aluminum console or is the plastic painted?
One of best interiors I've seen is sea blue full leather with carbon fiber trim. Amazing.

I seem to be slowly de-modding my car.
Reverted back to stock ECU tune from Softronic recently, stock version is much less 'jerky' when you need to drive in traffic, I suspect it may be due to issues with pre-cat O2 sensors softronic uses, may be it`s time to replace them.
Also took out recaro track seat to put in back stock one. Not a huge deal but is kinda a worrisome trend.
I still love this car, with replaced suspension and some key fixes to drivetrain(GTGears TBD, WEVO engine mounts, etc) it is a blast to drive.

Really no need to add performance mods, have the car with everything I need from Porsche.
did add; Xpel Clear Bra; Passport 9500ci; and had the car lowered.
Performance Mods are not worth the money and really do not change the cars performance unless you spend stupid money. Maybe I will flash the ECU, only real performance mod you can do to a Carrera S with out wasting money. if I really need more performance on the street I would just buy a GT3 or Turbo. Most Porsche owns turn their cars into what I call a PeP Boys special and just keep adding and adding crap. Just my option......

Sorry, will not change the performance of the car, only the sound and I have the Porsche exhaust already. Car will run the same lap times..... Would have to do the ECU and exhaust, and the car would still most likely run the same lap time.

Please keep your postings here on topic... again this is a thread about how we've modified our cars. If you've done something of interest then please share that with the community. Otherwise, you're more than welcome to create your own postings elsewhere if you'd like to get off topic. Thank you.

LOL... BTW, I'd love to ATX. Just need to spend more time in Austin. During the months of NOV-DEC I'll be in Austin a total of 2.5 wks. Starting in 2014 it's my resolution to get some time on a track or even a parking lot... would be fine. Recommendations welcomed as to which local events to attend. Planning/advance commitment for these events has been a challenge... my work related travels allow me to plan 1 wk ahead. An event where I can just drop in would be ideal.

I have forgotten everything I did to my car, though I had to do this when I got divorced so I do know numbers. In 06 my car had a 102K sticker in the two years that followed I spent 130K doing the mods to it, almost nothing left that was stock. The car could not even have a value put on it because the dealers said though it may look like a Porsche it no longer could be valued as anything but a kit car. It was supposed to me my (39th) and last Porsche but that turned out not to be the case. I have done mods to cars for 35+ years this was my most extreme though the amount of money I lost over the years is not something I like to think about.

I did a couple minor things like swapped the black seatbelts for the yellow ones and cleaned up the front by replacing the orange with the euro clear lights.
Thinking of adding those pedals I see some people have. Nothing major.
The car I want to mod is a 911 Turbo (07-09). For that I would do a full M&M Exhaust/ECU reflash etc...get that 600hp. No rush though, enjoying the garage too much to switch anything up.
Yellow belts after install...
