Go to Suncoast...for $10 they will provide you a list of all features that came with your car.

Great looking car, love that interior !! Hopefully the weather turns soon I would also consider some Rubber Floor Mats if you haven't already.

Here is the latest: Called the dealer in the morning and they were stumped and stated that they would look into it. The Sales Manager called back in about two hours and asked me to take a look at the car on their web site as it is still posted there. In the pictures it has the Sport and Sport Plus buttons! He said he would continue to look into it and follow up with me as soon as he could get some more information.

The owner (Omar) called me back to discuss a little while later and could not figure it out either. The only place the car has been between being posted on the website and now is Arlington Porsche where the PPI was done along some other warranty work. I'll see how this continues after they get together in VA.

More to follow...

How odd, it sounds like this will all be sorted out though.

Super weird, but your car looks awesome!!! Colour combination is one of my favorites. I have to start surfing the 987 forum as being on the 997 tempts me.

Looking forward to how this ends.

Too odd. I'd be tempted to have them send a truck and pick it up and take it away, and then deliver the car you bought. And as for the PPI by the dealer, did they miss this too? They also owe you a refund.

Very pretty car, but not the one you bought. Just my $0.02. I'd be going out of my mind, I admire your apparently calm approach.

It is very odd - I am waiting till they sort it out with Arlington Porsche to see what the next steps are for me. It is the car that was PPI'd and Rennfaxed, everything matches, except the mystery of the switched control panel.

It "only" has the Sport Tailpipes - a $950.00 option, wish they would have checked the Sport Exhaust instead... Anyway, the car is very well optioned and the only other option I wish it had is full leather.

That would be astounding. I hope this story has a happy ending. By the way, did the dealer send you the report of the way the car came from the factory (option codes, descriptions, cost, total MSRP)? That will be a good start to figuring out how this car should be, vs. how it is.

Something is very wrong for sure. I bought mine new, however its a manual, but I have sports chrono, SPASM and PSE. Here is my console, showing the sport button. Are you able to activate your lap timer from the stalk controls? It's almost like somebody installed the "wart" to give the false impression of the entire chrono package.

The pics on the dealers website clearly show the extra button. Weird.
