I had a 2006 997.1 which had a rubber strip under the car just rear of the nose.
My new to me 2011 997.2 does not have it........should it have one?

I thought they had them. Look underneath and see if there are holes for the rubber strip. If so then order one up or go over to the hospital and look in the parking garage where the Doctor's park. They pull too far up on the curbs and tear them off regularly. Cost is about $100.

Yes it is 17 ......I will have the dealer put one on no charge.....thanks.

The dealer told me that the C4S like the turbo does not come with this part.

Agree that the turbo doesn't have this part but I'd ask your parts guy to show you the specific page from the PET that shows the C4 doesn't have it. Front end on C2 and C4 (whether or not "S") are the same. You also might want to look at any C4's on the lot and see if the part is there.

Print these two pages and ask your parts guy where it shows the part is N/A for a C4...and find another parts guy.
