It's tied for 2nd with Jaguar. They list the ties in alphabetical order.

I find it interesting that "problems" include dissatisfaction with or inability to understand new electronics.

The JD Power study includes some really dopey items in their list of "problems". As Yetanothercrisis points out, they include items like having difficulty understanding how the car's electronics work. As a matter of fact, that very thing is a big factor in why Ford placed so low in the rankings this time. The new Ford SYNC is driving customers crazy. The sad thing is that people spend extra money to buy the option but then are too stupid to learn how to use it and then complain to JD Power and screw Ford in the rankings.

That's how an automotive turd like Jaguar can leapfrog Ford and other marques. Make no mistake, Jaguars still fall apart and catch fire like they always have. The XF's hideaway ac vents and disappearing gearshift still stay hidden when they're supposed to reveal themselves and they still leak oil from components that never had oil in them to begin with.

One of the biggest surprises on the list is Cadillac. They really have earned their position near the top.

Like many who don't have a dealer nearby, I'd be interested to see a breakout on the problems per model. That might push me towards a Cayenne or a Boxster in the future. Is this problems per car during the ownership period, or per year or what?

Cup holder broke = 1 problem
Engine blew up = 1 problem
