Default Look what came in the mail today ...

First just a short introduction. After ownership of many older versions of 911's ('71S, '76 Turbo Carrera, '83SC, '87 Carrera, '97 C2S) I recently purchased an '09 Carrera S. Its been about a month since we've had it and my wife and I are very happy, excited, and blessed to have it. It has about 16,000 miles on it and came with Sport Adaptive seats, PASM Sport Suspension, Nav, Bose, etc. Just a great driving car, love the seats, the motor, manual tranny, AC that works.

Since the car did not have PSE, I immediately ordered the Sharkwerks center muffler bypass for a bit more sound. It did help and now you can subtly hear the great noises coming from the rear end ..... but now I desire more. Take a look at what showed up this afternoon.

Tom

You're going to like that. The original DI engines sound very pathetic. You have to resort to something to fix that sound problem. This looks like a great solution. Porsche AG did something special for their 991 engines which has radically improved the sound on the latest DI engines.

Slighly OT - sorry...

TKO - is that tilt shift photography? The perspective in those photos kinda-sorta make your car look like a model... Or do you just have the aperture wide open?

Wide open .... pretty shallow DOF, probably should have 'stopped down' a bit.

It's stunning even in stock form!

Any videos of just the Sharkwerk bypass? How does it sound with just the bypass compared to a car with PSE?
