Who says this is a problem? My -06 gurgled when cold and so does the -09. It's over in less than a minute but personally I wish it would last longer.

and it already has the clear side markers!
Not sure about the gurgle. I think my car does that for a few seconds at start up... and it's sounds mean, I drive off and it's gone. But maybe that's not the same gurgle you're talking about.

I believe what you are describing is the secondary air pump activating at startup when the engine is cold. The function of the secondary air pump is to heat up the cats quickly to help reduce emissions. If you rev the car to 3,000 RPM at idle, the secondary air pump should shut off.

Dude, I kicked the tires for 3 plus years, always talking myself out of buying! I always found something wrong with the car I was looking at. Color, engine , mileage, year, dings, rims, location, is this a lemon, maybe I should wait!
I finally made the plunge in February. 2006 911S w/ 18K mileage for $45,000. The car is in excellent shape, not perfect, but extremely clean and well taken care of.
The only way you get perfect is buying new. Buy the car enjoy it, and make it your own, that's the fun / curse of it all!
