The gurgle is normal on a cold start. I remember my first time starting up a cold Porsche 996 X51 and saying to the salesman "it sounds a little rough don't you think?" and getting the 'newbie' look back. It has something to do with with the mufflers heating up. I love it. And my mufflers have gotten louder and louder over time. Pretty soon no need for a Gundo hack or a set of Borlas.

Obviously I've seen black ones before but in this case I am not sure if it's camera angle, the lighting, etc. but the car looks unbelievably amazing imo. Congrats!

Nice find and great price! 
My car is also a C2S in Basalt Black with the Carrera Classic rims. The side graphics on your soon to be car are very subtle and cool looking. But not sure if I'd keep 'em on long term.

GREAT FIND, one the cleanest Blacks I've seen with this milage, congrats, GREAT DEAL!
For jazzing it up a bit, do the following:
- Call/email Dectane and get the rear LED taillights
- Call Eric the plug, and get your center console painted! I just did mine, and OH BOY is it a HUGE improvement
- If you want DRLs upfront, contact Rottec and get their front LED DRL (I haven't done it yet)...
- If you want more, can add Black Carrera wheels with silver lip to finish the look
You'd be more than happy with the car, fantastic find!

The graphics may or may not stay. I think the painted console from Bumperplugs will be a nice add. Not sure about how far I will go with it, in terms of changing much.
Its basic spec and great condition, is kind of the attraction for me. The 911 S in its pure form, so to speak.
