Default My 991 Build

Here is my 991S build. Pls comment and give your input. I saw the car at the dealership and it is insanely beautiful. The exhaust note takes your breath away. The interior, although, Panamera-like, still maintains Sports-car like spartan feel and very much a 911. I loved it. The engine bay is dissapointing. Haven't driven it, They wouldnt let me bcos it was already sold.

I am ordering Guards Red (to match the color of my current 997.1 - neighbours and casual observers wont know that I bought a new car)

Fantastic! Love it. A couple things (and maybe I've missed it in your list) but make sure to have the deviating red stiching on the steering wheel and the leather boot surrounding your 7-speed shifter. There's a beautiful 997.2 cab in town that is stunning but doesn't have the above and would be the first thing I'd change if I jumped into it. I know it can be done. Without it if you are like me it will visually bug the crap out of me! Love it that you got the PDCC. What a car. What a build.

Deviated stitching, as referenced from Zeus, can be VERY tricky. Go over every section of the vehicle with your sales agent to be 100% sure (and many dealers miss this when ordering) that you get every inch of leather done with deviated stitching.

Good luck with it. Not a huge fan of black wheels, but love Guards Red, you will enjoy it I'm sure.

Thanks for the info so far and thanks taking time to check my build. Keep it coming. It is hugely beneficial to hear everyone take on this before I fnalize it.

Great selections! You might also want to add the "Smoker's" package so that you can attach a trickle charger.

I met a German guy in Germany during my European Delivery who did the same trick--bought the same color (red) 911 year after year, so that none of the neighbors would ever suspect that he bought a new car!

Dan..that's a neat trick I NEVER thought of..you think it would work on wives too? If so man I could have a hellofa run on a few things on my bucket list!

To the OP..yes deviated leather stitching is a must. Looks amazing but the $123k sticker still sends me into shock...did they raise the price of the new 991? My sticker on my 09 997 C4S was like $117k and I got it CPO'd. Can't imagine what the new 991 C4S will look like when they're done with it! Jeez

Nice build.. Im sure it will look spectacular.. love the neighbour/friend comment .. but heads up.. with your PSE option.. that may give it away if you don't have it on your current 997 !

Were you able to get a point or 2 off ?.. or at least a Tee-Shirt ?

Congrats !
Anxious to see Pics and get driving impression !
