How do you 996 guys have time to post over here, what with all of your IMS bearings grenading?
We come here to learn about bore scoring
This is funny. The thread is saved from being useless. Well done.

Just because I used to have a 996 with awesome headlights and now I have a 997S which I have never sat in but I still hang out in 996 land with the occasional 997 post does that make me a switch-hitter? And being from Indiana I'm not sure I can write that because we discriminate against all forms of life. But gawd I love boobies!

The best thing about the 996: The tailpipe is ALREADY split, so you can more easily determine which bank is smoking at any given time.
This saves the Porsche techs so much time when deciding which pistons to replace!
Of course, my 996 now burns 19 quarts of oil a month, but that's a small price to pay for being right!
