Default Breakfast in Santa Barbara

I know it's winter for a lot of Rennlisters out there, and I don't mean to rub it in about how nice it is living in Southern California, but, well...it is.

Here's a shot on the wharf in Santa Barbara taken this AM at our PCA Breakfast meeting. Dan (Edgy01) and me (Leader) parked side-by-side.

By the way, Dan's new LED tails and front lights look perfect! Saw them in person for the first time this morning.

I'm certain Dan has a better photo of the cars from today, but, for now, this will have to do. Happy January 14th, everybody!

See those mountains? That view is why I retired from the Air Force and joined NASA thirty years ago. We were in Dayton Ohio with two inches of rime ice on the inside of our patio door when the Rose Parade coverage showed that view. Lovely mountains. And some Redford movie about the West had been popular that year or thereabouts.

Combine all that with a snootful of politics and the prospect of more... Took a couple of months to process the paperwork, but by March we were sitting in Pasadena: dazed, but comforted every time we looked out a window.

They used to say that televising the Rose Parade created another 100,000 immigrations to California every year. We didn't count since we grew up here and we were just coming home, but I understand the feeling.

Must be nice. I played golf yesterday. It was 35° and windy.

Gary,

I agree on Winter in Dayton. I couldn't take the cold ether so I moved south to Cincinnait.

Wright Pat, aye? jesus, dayton - what a ****hole (I can say that, was born and raised in north dayton and escaped to SF)

nice move getting to Pasadena - was at the Rose Bowl a couple years ago (Ohio State beat down of Oregon) - tremendous venue

Q about Santa B, good freind's wife is from there, I've never been and always wanted to go but my buddy said it was pretty dull and full of blue hairs

comments anyone?
