Here is the story. Have had my c2s for 2 great years. Have put on 20k miles, now 43k. Well equipped with PSE and Ssk navigation rear center console painted. Love car. Weeping rms just replaced couple weeks ago. Cpoed till 6/13. Think we r going to see great prices on 2012 over the next couple months. If I can get 20% off new and good trade in mid to upper 50's of my car. Would have same payment albiet for an additional 2 years but will have a 5 year newer car with new warranty and no IMS to worry about. Must have PSE. Guess could wait for a Cpoed car when folks trade for 991.

We are seeing used 997 prices staying high. That's the good news story. But you will see a chunk of change needed to 'upgrade.'

I think he meant 20% off a 997. No chance of getting that on a 991. I'd wait and drive a 991, then decide what you like. In the meantime, you have a great car.

20% off a 997.2 gts or S. I know there will be no discount on 991 for a while. Not sure I like the interior of the 991, a bit busy with all the buttons and u cannot have a painted rear console which I love.

One can only hope we will see 20% off of a new gts in the near future. I would take that all day over full msrp on the 991 if and when it happens.

I faced exactly the same choice and got 20% off a GTS (in the UK not the States) and fair trade-in on my 2009 C2S. Thought I'd wait a coupla years for the 991 to iron out its wrinkles and see which model is the sweetie... not to mention which of the new options is a must.

This is exactly my plan.
Unless I convince myself to get a 997.2 GT3
