Chris, did you have any additional questions that I can answer for you about the '97 993 that I am selling? I have a few people that have shown interest and want to keep you in the conversation if you are interested as well. Thanks!

I have extensive maintenance records dating back to 2001. The car was purchased in FL (I have the original window sticker), then made its way to RI where it stayed for some time. I bought the car from a dealer in IN. When I bought the car, general maintenance address included: Oil change, driverís side door seal, and driverís side power seat replacement. The passenger side window switch is sticky, and I would probably address that ($40 part and easy owner fix). Otherwise, my to-do list was complete to be thoroughly satisfied with the car. The dealer that I bought it from completed a satisfactory compression test. Since purchase I have not had any service needs; though on my radar over the next 10k would be new brake pads, a set of tires, and an annual oil change. No major repair has ever been required of the car (top end rebuild, clutch, etc).

Feel free to PM/call with additional questions (816-510-2568).

There is an accident that shows up on Carfax from the original owner in NH. I talked with the dealer where I bought it about this extensively. The damage was minor and cosmetic; nothing structural. I am probably in the minority of enthusiasts in that I cannot handle rock chips on the bumper; in favor of "original paint." That said, I have the bumper professionally re-sprayed right after I bought the car. They did a very good job.

I have been on the lookout for the typical 993 flags with the car. The one that appears to be unavoidable, is the SAI Check Engine trip. The
light trips every so often, and clears itself after a drive or two otherwise. If you are unfamiliar, I would Google this for peace-of-mind.

The "upgrades" that have been made are tasteful and generally acceptable collectors. The ride setup is quite firm, but in my opinion the Eibach sport springs make for a very attractive stance. That said, I have considered swapping the Turbo S wing, and bringing that back to the original decklid. I have been offered $3k on Rennlist for the Turbo S lid. Ultimately, I decided against the swap because I really like the appearance. The Big Ovals are my favorite tips aesthetically and claim to increase power by 18HP.

I noted the wheel condition at purchase as something that I wanted to address, while remaining original. I refurbished the 17" Cups 60 days ago. I also noticed a slight wobble around 55mph and had them re-balance the wheels.

Hey Chris. The car is at my home at Weatherby Lake, MO (just SW of the Kansas City airport). I welcome a PPI. I have had various other enthusiasts inquire, and below are details worth noting:

I love the car and enjoyed every mile since buying last October (3rd owner). The only reason that I am selling, is that a showroom quality 993 C4S was available locally and I had to jump on it.

The car drives excellent The engine pull is superb, and the note is incredible. The supple leather interior is also excellent.
