I confuse easily. A person is looking for 20% off an '11 or '12 997.2/GTS and at the same time wants to get top dollar for a trade or private sale. So, if a dealership will cut a deal at 20% off why would they (or even a private party) pay KBB (like they ever do anyway) for a five year old car that is 1.5 generations old? OTOH, if 997 used prices are holding steady there must be a demand but again, if you can get 20% off an '11 C2S a potential buyer isn't looking at too big a spread between an essentially new car and one with mileage and, in this case, a remediated IMS/RMS issue. I'm sure there is a buyer out there and I wish the OP the best of luck - I suppose I just missed something here?

skip the 997/996 body. go for the new 991. just wait and enjoy what you have. we americans have this problem with buying new new new, upgrade upgrade upgrade. chill out and go take a vacation with a loved one instead.
