Cracks I've seen on the brakes I've changed have only gone partially into the rotor. Yours is all the way through. I would consider that to be a concern on any car.

Good to hear you're planning on going slotted. That's a much better choice.

Replaced the stone guards on my 2007 C2S with KI Studios precut self healing film. Quick job, but after 16 years they needed a refresh. Also did some stone chip touch up work.

I replaced the cracked fuel door hinge today and the missing spring that holds the door open or closed.

How did you remove the old one? Steamer?

I mentioned before on this forum that I really didn't like the wheel on my new-to-me 997.2 C2S compared to the paddles I had on the 997TT it replaced. Well, it's fixed!

The old one above.

And the new one here.

The swap took about 20 minutes, really going carefully and I'm not a highly skilled mechanic. I had all sorts of error messages when I turned the car back on, but my understanding is that they were because of the battery being unplugged during the operation. Everything went away after driving 5 meters.

Already delighted with having the paddle shifters back, it's so much better. I'm sad I lost the natural brown leather contour but sadly not available anywhere anymore and the alcantara feels very nice to the touch, so no regrets!

Swapped my lobsters for Turbo II's. And dropped off the 3rd brake light delete panel at the body shop.

If you are ever bored and run out of stuff to wrap in leather, let me know. I’ll send you all of mine.

I installed the auto headlights module that is covered here today: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...997-2-a-8.html
It was easy to install and works as advertised.

Also installed new gas gap with tether.

I’m going to hold you to that…..(although how the hell would I ever know if you’re bored?). But you’ve got to be pretty close to running out of stuff to wrap.
