Cracks I've seen on the brakes I've changed have only gone partially into the rotor. Yours is all the way through. I would consider that to be a concern on any car.
Good to hear you're planning on going slotted. That's a much better choice.
Replaced the stone guards on my 2007 C2S with KI Studios precut self healing film. Quick job, but after 16 years they needed a refresh. Also did some stone chip touch up work.

Was revisiting my earlier posts on modding my car right after purchase in Feb 2021. Somewhat laughable I thought I was done after clear side markers .
In the past 2.5 years, I’ve done the following (and I’m sure I forgot something…):
Sharkwerks bypass
Numberic SSK+cables
DSC controller
NM automotive CarPlay + rear cam
X97 shifter and ebrake
997 Sport Design steering wheel
Aluminum-finish gas cap
Aluminum trim foot rest
OEM C4S illuminated aluminum sills
Aero kit front bumper + GTS lip
GTS side skirts
Apex VS-5RS wheels + titanium lugs
997 LWBS + pepita inserts from p1
I think I’m finally done
its like going down a worm hole … been there and enjoyed every dollar … cheers
I mentioned before on this forum that I really didn't like the wheel on my new-to-me 997.2 C2S compared to the paddles I had on the 997TT it replaced. Well, it's fixed!
The old one above.
And the new one here.
The swap took about 20 minutes, really going carefully and I'm not a highly skilled mechanic. I had all sorts of error messages when I turned the car back on, but my understanding is that they were because of the battery being unplugged during the operation. Everything went away after driving 5 meters.
Already delighted with having the paddle shifters back, it's so much better. I'm sad I lost the natural brown leather contour but sadly not available anywhere anymore and the alcantara feels very nice to the touch, so no regrets!
I’m going to hold you to that…..(although how the hell would I ever know if you’re bored?). But you’ve got to be pretty close to running out of stuff to wrap.
