Took it out for an hours drive this afternoon. Nice, clear, clean day...roads dry...2 degrees C. We haven't had a good day like this since Dec. 8, 2013 (the last time I took it out). Missed driving the 911. With my summer Michelins, this cold weather and sand on the road in my neighborhood...it's entertaining hanging the tail out (while moving pretty slow).

Got the exhaust in and it sounds amazing. I'm working with a friend who does film and will try to put together a good before and after video. I was trying to do a 3-way comparo between stock, PSE and IPE, but during the shoot, the PSE actuator valve on the right side was dead. Didn't want to bother fixing it just to take a video and uninstall the whole stock exhaust afterward, so I skipped the PSE clip. The exhaust has that exotic tone with a throaty deep rumble at low RPM, and high pitched at higher RPM's.

While I was at it, I went ahead and did my standard protocol for all my white on black cars- darkened headlights, but instead of black, I used a matte titanium gray so the tone doesn’t make the headlights look like two black holes in the body. Achieved the look I wanted and couldn’t be happier.

Fulfilled a childhood dream and drove my newly purchased 997.2 C2S home today. Been searching for the right car for a while and found "the one" at Sunset Porsche in Portland. Key features: Basalt Black/Black, full leather, sport exhaust, sport adaptive seats, sport chrono, BOSE, CPO, MT. Photos aren't great, but they're all I have right now. Last photo: I stopped at Chipotle for lunch before the drive back up to Seattle and found a safe parking spot

Got my windows done. 20% 3m all the way around. I'm thrilled. my car has the brown interior, so I'm really glad I went with 20%. It looks darker in this picture than it is. The best part, is that I had zero problems seeing out of it at night driving home from the tint shop. I highly recommend 20% for a black car with tan interior.

BTW, the sun was wearing my kids out in the back seat on the way to school, so this should help. My Yukon Denali, which this car replaced, had privacy glass, and the kids loved it.

Didn't you see the huge tree above your car. I think a couple parking spots to the right would have been the perfect spot.
