Put a quarter inch rip in the drivers seat of my GTS. Now trying to find a reputable leather repairer who I can trust to make an invisible repair. Devastated!

Congrats on a job well done!

This week I replaced the cabin air filter, engine air filter and serpentine drive belt. Also put on the clearplex windshield protector.

I know the feeling! I have had several incidents like yours with prior cars. Hand in there and it will get better. How did it occurred?

Today I did some DIY on my car, so that's good.
But I sheared off one of the three bolts connecting the cat to the exhaust manifold on the passenger side, so that's bad.

But I didn't shear off the other two bolts, so that's good.
But I did the exact same thing on the driver's side, so that's bad.

But I was able to pull the cats to get better access to them, so that's good.
But the bolts are a permanent part of the cat assembly, so that's bad.

But I was able to drill the sheared bolts out and replace them, so that's good.
But it was 100 degrees out, so that's bad.

But while I was drilling out the bolts, my brother replaced the plugs and coils, so that's good.
But on reassembly, one of the exahust manifold bolts on the driver's side got cross-threaded in the block, so that's bad.

But I was able to get the other 5 bolts in properly and torqued, so that's good.
But now the manifold on the driver's side is rigged with a short bolt and a few washers, so that's bad.

But everything else went back together and it doesn't sound like I have any leaks so that's good.

AND.... I still saved $$$ because of this forum and the DIY posts, so that's AWESOME!!!! BIG THANKS (AGAIN) TO ALL WHO CONTRIBUTE!!!!

I cleaned out the front radiators. I've had the car for three months and figured the dealer probably cleaned out the radiators when they CPO'ed it. WRONG! I was shocked at how much crap was in there. Especially since the oil temp never gets over 200F, even at sustained highway speeds on warm days. I nearly filled a small grocery bag full of leaves, butts, stones, twigs, etc. and sucked a bunch more out with the shop vac. I wouldn't have thought there was enough space in there for all that crap!

What is the interior height of your garage?
8 or 10 ft?
Thank you. Love the lift!

Installed the Dension 500s BT. Eric from bumper plugs was great, helped me with a few things on Saturday. It all works so far, just need to figure out all the iPod controls.
