Any objections to Arena Red PTS?

Arena Red Again
I just discovered Arena Red yesterday as I reviewed the Porsche inventory at RAC Performance. They have a '98 Cab with Cashmere. GORGEOUS!!!
Then today saw a couple of 993s in Arena Red on line.
I began looking for a 911 in November just as I put my race car on eBay. (Now on a ship in mid-Atlantic on way to UK) Right away I found an '09 Cab in Ruby Red with Sand Beige in New Jersey. But, I haven't seen any near here (Tampa area). The 2 that were relatively near were sold & delivered before I could go look. (One was a Targa which is my prefered model.) But, it seems that Ruby Red is much lighter than Arena Red. Am I right?
Color-wise, I have looked a lot for white 911s as white is the most visible car color based on a study done by Mercedes in 1983 and supported by an Australian study more recently. And, the danger here is being invisible to the distracted, sight-impaired, and under-the-influence drivers. White is good, black and dark colors are not. But, the richness of Arena Red has hooked me.
My objection is that many of the 993s on which Arena Red appeared and are for sale now are Cabs. I would not like driving here in Pinellas County with that huge blind spot on the right. If any of you don't know it, this county is one of the most deadly in the USA. Worst drivers and road conditions I have ever seen. Have driven 48 of 50 states (missed KS & OK) and in Europe. Nothing like Pinellas anywhere. So, defensive driving, ability to see and be seen is critical. However, I just saw a 993 Cab with a wrap-around rear window. Is that an after-market top? Blind spot because of no quarter windows is only slightly more than that of the early Targa.
Still looking.

Thanks, ca993twin.
While the comp photo would have been better with reds side-by-side, this one does show that Arena Red is a bit richer with more depth.
Nice.
Guess I'll have to modify my search. Although the '09 Targa 4S in white with black/beige, 5,000 mi., PDK, Spt Chrono, and more was the best deal I have seen yet on a very striking car.

2010 E350
2004 ATC 20 ft. enclosed trailer (for sale)
1960 Giulietta Spider (also for sale)
1959 Turner Mk1 (sold & on its way home.)
Room in the garage for a 911
P.S. story on the Avatar: Had a 356 Cab on order - selling price $4,294 in 1965. Never got it thanks to a strike at company I just started working for out of college & Army.

PTS is the only way to go!!!!! Worth the wait Just the fact that not every 911 you pass has a chance to be the same color makes it worth every penny. There are too many black silver Guards Red 911's going down the road. Arena Red +5500 if your can't have blue red the next best thing

I'm putting this question here because of all the traffic.
When I order my next Porsche I'm going to try to get it in Arena Red. Most of us will know this color of red from the 993 Turbo models.
I have not seen Arena Red on any 911 SINCE THE 993 days.
I will have to Paint To Sample this color. My question to anyone who might be able to answer is do you know of Porsche turning down a PTS Arena Red car? I don't know if Porsche is trying to keep the color an exclusive because of the Iconic 993 Turbo, the last of the air cooled cars. Just like they won't paint a car Gulf Blue or Sport Classic Grey.
Any input would be great appreciated. Gracias.

I doubt that they will turn down the $$$$$$$ if you have the time.
If you go AR, pick an interesting interior color too.
I like greys, not black or tan, but everyone likes different combo's.

If you're considering an interesting red, I would try Zanzibar Red. Its a great mix of Red and Orange with a really nice metallic base to it. If you want a car to pop like the one in your avatar, I would suggest Zanzibar Red.
It was a special paint option on 2001-2004 vintage cars.

here is Zanzibar next to Nordic
Zanzibar is NOT to my taste
