This maybe heresy on this board, but I am sad to see pics from Concorso Italiano not included. That is always my favorite event of the entire weekend. It is a shame that there is now a separate German show and that the corrals at CI are so empty since CI is now again a great event after the disastrous year at the airport.

Don't be sad. Here's a photo from this year's Concorso Italiano.

You are free to attend CI and post photos. I do not care much for that event.

Well, the Porsche Race Car Classic was coordinated to coincide with Rennsport IV, on October 16th, but it's a separate event. It has been in the active planning for three years and will not be repeated. It has the full support of PAG/PCNA and the factory is bringing up to six cars to the event from Germany. It is certainly going to be a unique 'gathering' and I encourage all to attend. It is an expensive ticket @$400 but fully $350 is tax deductible since its all proceeds go to a registered charity (Lung Cancer). The format is similar to The Quail this past Friday at the Lodge - gourmet food, all wines and drinks, etc. A first class affair!

Great pics, Tony. For the first time in years we didn't make the Monterey week due to other obligations so your post helped fill the void. I already have my tickets for Rennsport Reunion IV and the Porsche Race Car Classic at Quail Lodge. Can't wait!
