For people who ordered from Europe, how much duty/custom/taxes did you have to pay?

I didn't see nor get any duty/customs fees. I was waiting for them to appear but they didn't. I don't believe Orange Tuning sent my lights as a 'gift' so I suspect they may have paid those fees on their end.

IIRC duty is not significant and the first $1,800 is excluded.

If you live is Canada, then there is duty and broker fee, plus any applicable shipping fee. I'd estimate it @ around $150-$200.

No - as long as the lights aren't turned on there's no power to the lights.

Thanx Mr. Brennan.....

i received my package today..... lightning fast shipping from Orange Tuning from Germany..... it was like less than a week. And no import taxes. Had tracking # from DHL and was delivered by USPS.

Frank is the man@ Orange Tuning. He just sent me an invoice through paypal. DONE.... FTW

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For all the guys that have the Dectane rear LEDs, what is the extra plug for? and what is the extra plug/relay adapters for?

TIA,
John

From Mr. Brennan on another forum:

Unused connector is for extra resistor pack that might be needed for early models of 997.1.

and another answer from another forum:

"Porsche used two different wiring cables for the 997.1 series.

One already has the resistors and the other one doesn't."

My experience is the same jbigelow - lightening fast shipping to Vancouver and no customs, duty or extra charges on the importation.

Frank is definitely the man and this experience is consistent with my previous purchases from Frank involving other vehicles.

Excellent group to do business with.
