Default 2012 997 - anyone getting less than MSRP?

Curious if anyone has been offered less than MSRP, looks like they just came out.

Nathan,

1. The 2012 911 cars are already at the dealers and are for sale. They are the 997.2 model.

2. The 991 will be introduced as an early release 2013 model.

3. Once the 2013 (991) model is released, the 2012 (997.2) cars will be discounted.

The dealers around here are discounting 12's now.

The 2012 Porsche will still be a 997 car...I know my dealer called me with a GTS slot (long story) with a unbelivable deal for me to take it. The GTS with be a 2012 and will be here in early August.

The 991 will be ordered in later September with Feb/March 2012 delivery.

Unless the 991 turns out to be a 996.2 in which case the 997.1 & 997.2 become collector's items.

I just bought a 2010, and almost bought a 2012 tts, which was discounted by only $2,500. They are not giving much discount ts on these cars.

About 5k off a Black edition. Discounts are bigger on 11's, but you can get something off the 12's as well.

Would you be so kind to let us know what kind of deal was being offered on the GTS. You can PM me if you don't want to share on the board. Thanks!

Demand might be really high in your area. In the Midwest, I see them being discounted more than 8k on a 115-120k car. 2011's are more.
