Default FS: My C4S cross-post

Cross-posted from "For Sale" section...

Selling my 2009 Carrera 4S Launch Edition. I've owned it since new, and selling to make our new home purchase a little easier.

Asking $79.9K - PM me for the Rennlist "good guy" price
~18,500 mi

Meteor Gray/Black Full Leather
Sport Buckets
PDK
Sports PASM w/LSD
Bluetooth, Nav, XM, iPod
Bose
Sport Chrono
Ceramic tint
PCA sticker

No accidents, no stories. I am pretty easy on this car - a huge chunk of miles came on our drive to CA for the Monterey Historics. The only cosmetic items are a rock chip in the front bumper (noticeable, but in the plastic, not metal) and a little wear on the lower driver's side bolster. Needs new rear tires, but I'll take care of those. That's it.

That's a good buy for someone. Beautiful car!

Good luck with the new house. It appears to be a good market to sell the car in and a good market to purchase a house.

I'm trying to actually do something smart for a change! Thanks for the compliments.

GLWS Chris...I almost bought the same car (a Launch edition C4S) when I got my 2009 CS but Porsche of Silver Spring was being a little outrageous on both the price of my trade and the C4S so I passed. Still wish I hadn't but oh well...have made up for it with subsequent acquisitions as you know! LOL Great car and good luck with the house!

I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my GT3, but think I can hold on to it. Just bought a home in Texas... You're right, it's the smart thing to do. Good luck.

I'll second that and would just add that those bucket seats are addicting (to me at least). Adds another dimension of connection with the car. Very comfortable too, even on long drives.

That's a stunning car, love the sport buckets and yes they are very comfortable.

Chris make sure you have a plan to buy a new toy once the house purchase is complete, it doesn't take long before car withdrawal symptoms start showing up!

Sold it today. Very disappointed with what the market is offering (zero bites from regular folks, $65-69K offers from dealers/wholesalers). Interestingly, I don't really miss it - it never clicked emotionally. I blame PDK for that. It WILL be nice saving tons of money every month...

Glad to hear and also sorry to hear it Chris. Drove mine on a short trip the other day 200mi each way and only regrets were 1) now that I had NAV retrofitted..no SAT radio (NPR saved the day almost), 2) PDK is fine but without keeping it in Sport modes..it seeks 7th gear almost always at the detriment of quickness/aceleration and I find myself using the paddles more which is okay also (that is why I had the Champion ones retrofitted). Can understand you on the monthly savings. Yeah the market sucks...PM on what you sold it for..interested in how bad it really is. A7 is doing well BTW...just waiting to hear back from Stasis...still. GL with home/purchase and any other 4 wheeled finds!
