Hissing noise

2011 C4, 1500mi.
After a spirited ride, i noticed a hissing noise coming from the front driver's side. At first, i thought it was the tires, but after further inspection, it appeared to come from the front vent under the turn indicator housing (not sure what it's called).
Putting my hand through the 'vent', seemed to be a clear oily fluid at the base. (see pictures). Wasn't water, and i don't know enough about automobile fluids to decipher what it is. The hissing went away after 45 minutes. Haven't started the car since.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated before i bring it to the dealership.
Cheers!

Probably coolant. When it's hot it gets highly pressurized and can force itself out of small holes. A common source of small leaks is just the tubing that runs from the radiators back to the engine, the fittings can become loose.

FWIW, my 06 was flat bedded back to dealer the day after i bought it new due to coolant leak (all over my @#*$ing garage!). culprit was the radiator tube outlet - coincidently on left side also - which was cracked or something...? anyway, apparently not a completely surprising issue for my model year. maybe they havent entirely fixed the problem?
