Nice car. I too have a 2006 C2S and have an opportunity to pick up a 2012 GTS in White over Sand beige full leather interior, and with an Aero package. It's not my first choice of colours but it would mean i would pick it up in a week vs custom ordering and waiting 4 months. What do you think? Any body seen this colour combo in the GTS?

For me there would be no Alcantara crap and no Center Lock wheels.

Just got mine a month ago. I had a PDK 2009 C4S cab, them traded for a 2010 C2S 6-speed coupe, and now a 2011 GTS cab 6-speed. I don't think I will ever buy a PDK 911 again. I thought I loved the PDK for about 6 months , but sorely missed the interaction and precise control of a 6-speed car. 90% of the time, I would drive in auto mode, which means 90% of the time, it was mere transportation for me and not really a "drive", but I can understand the practicality of the PDK in a commuting environment. If I have to deal with traffic everyday, I might be tempted by another PDK, but for now, ony manuals for my 911's.

Congrats on your new GTS. I've had mine 3 months, just turned 2K miles, and absolutely love it. Nice to see yours is getting plenty of exercise. Great write up.
If I might add, the PSE is sweet and I've had lots of comments on how good the car sounds. Having had a C2S and a 10 GT3 I think Porsche really nailed it with the GTS. A great blend of comfort and performance and I love the aggressive, wide body look. Not as planted at speed as the GT3, the aero stuff really works, but it's plenty fast, and the creature comforts are nice, you can actually hear the bluetooth. Just a wonderful car.
Gratuitous pic of my GTS.

Since this thread has been revived, I thought I'd check back in...ten months in the GTS now, 6200 miles. Still crazy about the car. It does everything well, and it's still solid (no NVH).
Not to mention...it looks great! (Even in an iPhone pic.)

You car still looks awesome!
How do you like the floor tile? What brand is it? If you had to do it over again, would you get the white tile?
My wife suggested I look into getting the garage floor sealed/covered so I am in the early stages of considering my options. Any info or comments you could share would be appreciated.

Honestly, I used to be more conscientious about taking care of it (cleaning, mopping) than I am now, but the overall effect is still striking.
The L.A. climate is very kind for this type of floor - no winter salt, etc. - so, it doesn't get a lot of punishment.
Overall, it's held up extremely well...and, of course, since it's just sitting ON the floor, not affixed, it's removable and reconfigurable.

It's Race Deck 12 x 12" tiles. I put it down about 7 years ago. I still like the white tile, although it doesn't look as white-white as it did when new.
