I only have the one with the double bottom, that holds the grit away from the mit... OMG I feel inadequate...

I also... erm.... mix 100% cotton towels with microfiber, for different things... forgive me.... sniff...

Never thought of color coding microfiber cloths... that has to be the next step.

Micro fiber cloths? FWIW: you should be **** about them.

Be careful with them. Seriously. You can ruin them by washing with cotton stuff. Also don't mix MFs used for wax with other MFs when washing: you'll be sorry! In-dryer fabric softener will also kill them: no more streak free shines. Google it, see for yourself: I'm just saying what I go by.

Don't forget the cars treated anally tend to behave anally.

For example: The anally-maintained car will go nuts with CEL and error codes if the new buyer drives them thru a mud puddle.

I'll admit, I'm a poser-A.R. I keep the car clean, but I like to drive it. And I'll leave it dirty for a few days at a time.....

I leave it dirty because I don't want to scratch it up with a quickie cleaning. I'd rather detail it nicely all at once. This way I get to drive a clean beauty every few days, rag the heck out of it (it actually runs better the harder I drive), then clean it back up and restart the process.

I agree on the MF tips. I've recently ruined a set that I had due to improper washing with cotton. They are still soft, but FAR from lint free. These will move to the wheel cleaning cloths now.

I don't color code, but I do have a window set, paint set, and wheel set of cleaning gear.

With the help of this support group, I hope to move to full A.R. in 5-7 years...

You wash and resuse them!?

To me the microfiber cloths are disposible item. I use each cloth only once, and then gladly dispose it.

Costco sells them (the yellow color one) in a big (36-cloths) pack. Everytime I go to Costco I grab a pack or two.

After having driven 170+ MPH many continuous times when I still lived in Germany the soft paint in my bumper became impregnated with German insects...it's been over a year now since my last autobahn stint and the same bugs still reside in my bumper. Oh well.

I'd never sell my Porsches, if the next owner plans to drive in the rain, let alone into a mud puddle. This is one of the first 3 questions I ask during the "interview / screening process".

Too bad. Not adequately ****! Should exploit the entire range of MF analogues. Their many moods and shades of meaning augment ****-ality.

Analyze the analeptic MF LUXURY! (see below)
