Went to a concours show yesterday, and my wife liked the Panamera Turbo better than EVERY car there! It was sitting next to a Carrera GT, and she couldn't take her eyes off the Panamera.

I'll continue enjoying my 997, but kudos to Porsche for building a car my wife would trade her Range Rover for

I was as the dealership yesterday and a family with a baby was test driving the Panamera. In the showroom they pushed the baby stroller up against a 911 like it was a lesser car blocking their they access to the Panamera. The wife and husbands comments were really not Porsche related and it was funny to see them try and load the stroller into the back.

I didn't stick around to see if they bought a car. But it's not the Porsche/Audi I remember from 20 years ago. Does it matter? Probably not, what I do wonder is what exactly does this couple in there late 20's to early 30's do to afford a 125K grocery getter?

I hope they sell tons of Panameras and Cayennes so that they will keep on developing and producing the 911 and can do it at a still reasonable price.

Oh I dunno about that. On certain days that would even have merit to speedily get them to Gramma's...

So very sad ... this is everything that is wrong with the Porsche brand today ...
Ferdinand is rolling in his grave ... “We wouldn’t build a real 4-seater. … We are a sports firm.”

Thought I remembered the factory building a one-off 4 seater 911 for Ferdinand's birthday.

You are correct, except it was a 4 door 928 given to Ferry as a 75th birthday present.
