I'd like to see better photos, but I'm thinking the narrower spoke on these might look generally better on the more modern 997 - especially darker cars.

Nice wheels, but I have to say they're nothing close to original, and the Otto Fuchs, Sports Classic, or the replica Fuchs racing wheels look much better IMO, two of them (Otto, Fuchracing) being FORGED wheels.

Backerman, I'm from Seattle, too. What shop were these pics taken?

That's a big difference! Even if you trash a wheel or two, it still pays cost wise. Do you know the comparison of weights between the Fuchs performance wheels and yours? What is the link to the site you bought them from?

Otto Fuchs is cheaper than Cali-Fuchs actually, which is interesting. Almost the same as cast Sports classics.

Put them on a midnight blue 997.1tt coupe.
Please post a pic of the wheels on your car. Thanks

Who knows the weights of the stock wheels I have and aren't all our stock wheels cast?

Guys Im having a mObridge installed today. I'll take more photos this weekend. Apologizes for the delay. I've also heard somewhere that the factory sport classic fuch from Porsche will be available next year for narrow body cars as well. Can anyone confirm if thats true?

Thanks for reposting that! Every time I read one of these posts it's a HUGE eye-opener, as it's easy to forget that our cars have 200+ pounds of unsprung weight to deal with BEFORE adding in the hubs, rotors, brakes, etc...

Of course, the way mind works this makes me want to figure out the overall unsprung weight figure on a C2S. If I'm not mistaken, the PCCBs save 38 pounds in total unsprung weight. Saving nearly 10 pounds per corner is really huge from a percentage standpoint.

Sorry if that's OT, and I don't want to start another war over the wisdom (or lack thereof) behind having PCCBs. Whether or not they make any sense financially, there's clearly nothing else you can do (that will survive on the street) that has that kind of impact...
