Default Upgraded console lid

Has anyone purchased either of the console lids available from Suncoast with the Porsche logo embossed into them?
There are two available. One for $699.95, the other for $269.95. I am obviously attracted to the lower cost option, but would be interested to see if anyone has one and whether they look "low cost" (cheap).
Pics of each below, although you can't really tell from the pictures. The first one is the lower cost option.
Thanks.

I assume the pricier one is leather, and the cheaper one isn't? If so, pictures will look the same, but up close and personal, the leather will feel and look better. For that kind of money, you can get your whole center console covered in leather at some places.

According to the site the more expensive one says premium leather, while the other says basic leather/leatherette.
Guess that's the difference, would just like to hear what the quality is like on the lower cost one, and if it'll match my interior (full leather).

I have the natural leather piece in my car (ordered that way). It feels, smells and looks great. I can't speak to the other options.

For such a small piece, get the cheaper one and buy a nice leather jacket with the change!

Eh..., IMO? save your money or blow it on something more fun. I know it's a Porsche and yet I haven't seen mine (unembossed) in weeks. I know it's there though; I drove the car yesterday.

Have you priced a leather covered one from the Porsche dealer - ill bet they are even cheaper than those. I think the Porsche embossed logo is just a little over the top and makes it look to fussy.

I installed one of the less expensive ones as my plain 'ol vinyl one had a scrape on it.

It looks great and is really all you need IMO - the OEM one is ridiculously cheap looking and feeling - with the stitching and the embossing this one does the job for me.

I'm sure the full leather one is plusher and has a nicer smell, but this looks and feels like leather and I personally think the $700 can be spent better elsewhere.

Thanks Chris, that's what I was looking for.

The $699 unit had a major price drop over a month ago. Check with dealers, they are all under $300 now, whether with model logo or crest, regardless of leather color.

I tried to ask to my dealer about the lower cost option but there were not able to find it.
Do somebody have the part numbers of the two?
many thanks!

Yes, I know. But worth to try. Suncoastparts still have both on stock but unfortunately from EU the purchase is too expensive. But having Porsche codes investigations could be more effective.
