Default Anyone in S. Orange County with either PSE or AWE exhaust?

Hi everyone -

I'm thinking of changing the exhaust on my 2008 997s to either the OEM PSE unit or perhaps the AWE unit. I've done a lot of research online here and at other forums and have a pretty good feel for the pro's and con's of both sets of cans. I'm most interested in sound.

I don't think sound clips online translate too well and would really appreciate the opportunity to hear these set ups in person.

I'm more than happy to buy someone coffee or lunch for a few moments of your time and perhaps a quick ride where you drive me up to freeway speeds and back. No more than 15 minutes of your time.

I live in Dana Point, CA but work in Irvine. I'm hoping that someone out here in internet land has such a set up and can spare a few moments of time for a fellow P car guy.

Thanks in advance.

I obviously don't live in Cali, however, I will say the PSE sound
is outstanding. It really shines over 4k RPM's.

I strongly recommend installing it.

I highly endorse the PSE but understand that it has been 'enhanced' for the cabriolets.

Here's a couple links to some noise (first with cab top up, second with hardtop on:

Your PM is not set up here on this site. I would love to meet with you since you're so close.

Thanks John.

If I can't work something out with P91473 I'll call you. He's right around the corner and hopefully I can save us both some miles.

Sincerely appreciate he offer.

Best.

Report back your findings... love to know how you think of each.

Not everyone's lucky to live in CA with HUNDREDS of 997s around to compare exhausts...
