Default Auto door lock in 997.2?

Anyone know how to enable auto door lock on a 997.2 through the PCM? My buddies 997.1 does it auto upon engaging in drive. I go through some dicey places and always forget to lock after getting in. Took the manual home to read, have no idea where I left it.

Thanks in advance.

If you have the Sport Chrono, you can do it in the Individual menu. Otherwise, I believe you have to take it in for the dealer to program it.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Let me know if you want the User's Manual in PDF format. I'll PM you the link to download.

With Sport Chrono you can do a lot of customizing that would otherwise require dealer (service) intervention.

If you have SC, you can set it yourself in the PCM.

From the Owner's Manual:
"On vehicles with the Sport Chrono Package
Plus, the PCM can be used to activate automatic
door locking.
Please observe the chapter “Individual Memory”
in the separate PCM operating instructions."

Not F'd at all, unless you simply don't want to drive to the dealership.....I don't have it either, and went to the dealer no charge., and in less than 10 minutes, they had it programmed its just easier to do yourself with the SC
