When you guys are driving around town, not spirited just point A to B driving, at what RPM's do you shift your 911?
What does Porsche recommend?

I try to cruise around 2k. Usually shift after 3k on just a casual cruise around town.

Just moved my office a month ago and eliminated my commute in favor of 1.6 miles surface street. What's "shifting"?
As I told a buddy earlier today, I think I better get out for an Italian tuneup soon.

Does it matter? Totally depends... sometimes to enjoy the engine at 6.5K, most other times between 3-4K.

u can shift as soon as rpm hits 2k for better gas mileage when u just running errands on a lazy day... i try and do that but more often than not, my eco-consciousness gives way to the animal inside. love hearin the dfi engine rev past 4k
