I attempted to send him a private message via Rennlist but it was declined (in other words, he's off the air). He probably finally told the administrators to FOAD.

Sorry, but I'm sure you agree that the best way to handle situations like these by respecting everyone's privacy.
It is interesting to watch threads like this develop, opinions posted, rumors exchanged outside the forum, etc.
The reality is something quite different, since there are only a few people who actually see both sides of the story.
The childhood lesson "there are always two sides to a story" is still true today.

Respecting everyone's privacy does NOT address the issue of why all of his posts have been deleted. Like him or not, a number of his posts contained a lot of valuable information, and now they're gone, gone, gone....
Ban somebody, delete the post(s) that warranted his banning, but don't wipe his existence out completely. That's ridiculous.
