I'm in Florida so no snow but it's about 25 degrees and my Porsche gets started and DRIVEN every day here. One of the reasons I bought the 911 was so I could have a sports car built for the cold weather. The other car is a 700 hp Shelby which becomes a death trap at these temps. Get out and drive your Porsches!

Here is a link my friend took of me tooling around on the Tapan Zee Bridge.

nice videos sargepug! how did your friend manage the crazy ny traffic and take the video simultaneously? I hear you on not wanting to drive in the salt and pot holes after snow. My car looks like crap and i just went over a pothole the size of manhattan the other day and that didnt feel too good. It's a small price to pay for my daily allotment of a piece of paradise. I actually look forward to my commutes now because I know it involves some intoxicating times in my p-car. I'm putting in more than 1,000 miles a month, and I feel great about that. So far, all that my car needed was couple quarts of oil and a new pair of windshield wipers. Such great cars!

From personal observation, the guy shooting the footage is simply able to safely multi-task, and yes, his C4S is a 6 speed.

Tried washing the Cayenne last weekend. I used Optimum No Rinse in water as hot as it would come out of the kitchen faucet. Within seconds it would freeze on the sheetmetal.

I put my snow tires on the RS and got it out of the garage this weekend. We've have some warm weather here in Chicago that melted all the ice of the roads and hopefully washed the salt to the side. I knew I couldn't go the whole winter without driving it, but also wanted to get all the fluids up to temp and not let a single tank of that ethanol crap sit in the tank all winter.
