So here is a list of my options, but what is the differance between "Options" and "Exclusive options"? I assume EO items are non-standard if that's a term and are bulit specially for that VIN. However in reality every item down to the last wheel bolt is bulit "just in time" and to order. Anyone shed any light?

Options cost about 50% more than you'd expect but Exclusive Options cost 100% more than you'd expect.
Edit: Sport chrono on a manual transmission car is a curious choice. Not much point to that, imho.

I don't know why Porsche insists upon breaking it down into "Exclusive" vice "options." Perhaps it's an internal issue. Suffice it to say, the Exclusive stuff is sometimes more complicated to repair or replace down the road. (Ask me how I know).
Here was my list of stuff:

Dan if not too personal what was the original MSRP on your car? My 2006 997S coupe was just under $116,000 but looking at your list there I am sure you have me beat.

The car stood for six months with an MSRP north of $91 000. I know this because I tried to buy it new in late 2006. I eventually found and purchased it last month in MA.
Curiously it has every "S" option except the big reds and 3.8 engine

Hey not that I paid for any of this curiousity, well except for the color, the rest was gravy.
Bruce
PS Sport Crono good for sharper throtlle response and adjusting the "off" delay on my headlamps, that's worth a $1 000, not!

I got the Chrono pretty much for lap times. But it also gives you additional personalization options, plus it looks cool.

My ordered 09 C2S Cab came in at $119,030 w/ a significant number of Exclusive options but w/o the Bose, XM, Bluetooth, and Nav (none of which I need/want) which the dealers always order. My car didn't sticker for that much more than their 09C2S Cabs on the floor/lot. Even the non-Exclusive options add up.

There are plenty of Carreras available for far less than that,--but I didn't want just another run of the mill stripped 911. It's not always all about the money.
