PORSHCE EXCLUSIVE

A Porsche is more than just a car. It is also the expression of the personal freedom of its driver. And of a quite personal taste and lifestyle.

'Porsche Exclusive' offers you a wide range of individual extras so you can customize your car to your own unique requirements. Straight from the factory. Visual and technical enhancements, for the interior and exterior. And always just as you want them.

The most important extra, though, is time. For it is only by taking the utmost care during the consultancy, planning and processing phases that it is possible to create something really special. A Porsche which is as special as its driver.

For more information regarding Exclusive and your vehicle, please make an appointment with your Authorized Porsche dealer
Marketing fluff

I was going to say that EOs probably don't show up on "dealer spec" cars, but mine has the "Carrera" storage compartment lid, so maybe they do through in a few to spice things up.

"$135,100"

You got exactly what you wanted. How do you put a price on that? Seems reasonable in that respect. I would love to have a Paint to sample car one day, the only way to order a new 911.

Remember, the mantra was always "no two Porsches are exactly alike"

498 refers to the deletion of the standard silver-color script. CUC refers to the addition of a custom, body-color painted script.

Most of whats on the cars falls into that category.. its all about what makes one smile when riding in the car. Why any of the leather and paint options, door sill option... all this cosmetic stuff for money. Yeah, $1k is a lot on a 6spd to get some throttle response differences and the ability to set things in the computer without having to visit the dealer, but having that chronograph there to time laps is fun and adds more aesthetic value to the car than off-color stitching on a leather dash.. in my book. And once you are $100+k into a customized car build, whats another 1%. ;-)

"Options cost about 50% more than you'd expect but Exclusive Options cost 100% more than you'd expect.

So true!

Buy a Hot Lap if you want lap times. It's far cheaper, is actually accurate and it won't leave an ugly wart on your dashboard.

Hey each to their own. I happen to like my SC and given I have PDK it makes a difference. I dont view it as an ugly wart. In fact, I wouldn't buy a car without it.

On the other hand, I couldnt care less about leather stitching or the fancy interior bits. But I dont call them ugly or disparage people who like that stuff.

I tried to use my Sport Chrono to time laps exactly once. The next week I ordered a Traqmate.

Sorry if I offended- didn't mean to. And with PDK the option makes sense.
