Hi Ramjet

I am looking at a C4S too. Would you mind sharing MSRP and discount info. Is that cash deal only or lease? Tahnks

we do! I would be upset if I did that! My GX is an 08 and the resale on those vehicles is very good. Probably 1 vehicle that i'd sell myself. Can't wait to see the redesign inside and out!

MSRP north of $110K. Getting $20K off is easy. I found other cars that were very close to what I wanted where the dealer was willing to do more than $20K discount but I ultimately decided to spend a bit more and get exactly what I want.

You guys looking for C4S deals: GET THE LAUNCH EDITION! I have one and it's a great car - tons of good options on it. I've *heard* of up to $12-15K off (putting it under $100K). This is a very good deal.

I bought a GTI for DD, BTW. $2K under invoice, miniscule interest... can't lose.

Default for newbies, better deals needed

I'm considering taking the plunge but as a newbie to 911 and with limited resources, I'm afraid of making a very expensive mistake. More aggressive deals and terms sugarcoat that fear. Most dealers I have contacted are reluctant to match the deals posted here and therefore the impasse...

If you are "with limited resources", don't do it. If you MUST have a 911 (I know the feeling), find a nice '87-88 Carrera 3.2. They're about $20-25K and are pretty reliable. If you are less limited than that, then look for a CPO 2005-2006 C2S. You'll be looking at about $55-60K and have a full warranty. Good luck!

Use a dealer that will, I have been warned about soliciting business here since my company is not a sponser but Alfi is a sponser and he'll make you a deal. I have now helped dozens of people here and armed them with the info to get a great deal.

A friend at the dealership said their pre-owned inventory is getting thin, the -09 inventory is growing and they're selling a lot of extended warranties. Considering what they offered me for my car towards an -09 that trend will probably continue.

Our used inventory is tiny an our 09 911 inventory is shrinking fast. the prices on new 09's are just silly and people are taking advantage of the cash back. We have only 2 pre onwed 911's left and 1 pre owned Cayenne. I cant keep a pre owned boxster here more then 3 days.

Thanks Trader,

Yes, the deals are out there to be had, especially if you find one in a dealers inventory. Getting a lanch c4s coupe under 100k is certainly doable. Let me know if i can help in any way.

Yea you could wait and maybe save a grand or two but then you’re going to be looking all over for a car with decent colors or options and probably not find what you want.

Buyers its time to hit your local dealer hard.
Perhaps you're not aware that this country is in a serious recession/depression?

You're kidding? Silly me and I thought Porsche was knocking 20 grand off cars in a booming global economy just for the heck of it.

Just think I spent 20 years as a professional derivatives trader, had seats on 3 different exchanges plus a degree in finance and I never noticed.
