I have had a lot of questions on the wild deals a few dealers are offering. yes there is 10k cash back but NO not all dealers are doing it and not on all cars. The dealer must take another car from port in order to get the 10k cash back he is NOT obligated to do it or offer it and many if not most are not doing and really not doing it on all cars, especially if they have to go get the car you want from another dealer.

 

thanks, Trader! i think most people think that the 10k is automatic. I had the 6k offer in May, but I chose the 2.9% financing since I am going to pay off the car in 3 years. the interest savings blew that 6k out of the water!

 

Thats the whole idea too, you can save more then 10k in some cases via finance

 

agreed! Now, if they were offering 1.9 and the 10k in addition to 10% off, that would be a different story! When I was purchasing my car, we worked out all the scenarios, like using chase bank, etc in order to get the 6k back, but it just worked out in savings even at 5 years doing the 2.9! Now, I do have the car I want in atlas and all the options I wanted, but we did search for malachite green C2S or C4S cab...none!

 

Is there a port car search available for non-dealers? Would anyone know how many U.S. ports there are? I seem to remember my salesman telling me my car arrived in San Diego.

It's too bad the incoming MY10 cars that were listed last month in the porsche.com dealer's new vehicle inventories were recently pulled, I guess it wasn't helping '09 sales having the '10 cars up.

How long is this $10k back thing going on for? Only through end of month? Which is now over? Or August too?

 

thats why i got mine so cheap, 1.9 is nice but i was planning on paying it off anyways and my trade was paid off so again, the 1.9 wouldnt have helped as much as the 10

 

10k cash back is over. There may be a car around which a dealer took one from port against which still has it but its gone on all others. Our ruby red launch c4s pdk cab still has it but thats all from us.

Silver1331 depends on what you're looking for. We have a bunch of cars priced 11 or 12% off and more at 10% off
