Default Carmon Red Metallic - Is It Guard's Red

I have seen a few 2007's listed as Carmon Red Metallic.
It looks like GR to me, however, is it a different color?
Thanks.

I just picked up a Carmon 997S coupe last Saturday. It IS a beautiful color, especially in the sunlight. It's one of those paint colors that changes its shade depending on light conditions. It acts like a pearl, even though it is called a metallic.

I think it looks great on cabs. I think it needs good lighting to do it justice though. Yours looks great LvnTheDrm, especially with those Champion wheels and tan interior.

Yours looks really sharp with natural brown leather. Excellent choice of interior color.

+ Ditto on a great combo. Carmon is very rich, and coupled with the richness of natural brown, makes for a terrific combo.

I bet it also looks good in a two-tone combo - black/natural brown - with that black top like the one shown here: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-turb...ml#post3843362

It is interesting how two advertised obvious Guard's Red P-Cars
have noted the color as Carmon Red Metallic.
