I've had them and liked them. They look good and actually work well.

Another nay, the standard xenon lights are fantastic and I prefer the classic look, but it's nice they are a relatively low cost option on the 997 for those who want cornering lights. I feel kind of bad for the 987.2 Boxster/Cayman guys, I'm pretty sure it's either the halogen lights or put up around $1500 for the dynamic cornering bi-xenons, they no longer have the basic xenon option.

Yay for me. I ordered them, think they look cool, but seldom use them. I'm sort of a gadget freak, so I had to have them. Your mileage may vary...

Had them on my '05 BMW 3'er. I honestly didn't miss them on my '08 997. So, Nay.

I think them on our new 997.2. Is it a must have--no. But a fun toy--and really not that expensive if I remember correctly.

What do you mean seldom use them?
Can you turn them off/on?

Nay. Save your money. I am uncertain whether it will assist you at all with high speed cornering. Some may disagree. I had them on a lexus LS. It was a novelty feature that I did not use.

Thanks guys. I eventually chose the car with out them. BUt I did win out on color, and every other feature I wanted.

I am not sure if I would have ordered them. On the Boxster S for 09, the Halogen light on highbeam is a little annoying.

I prefer the look of BI Xenon. I hope no one sees my car and frowns upon me not opting for it. Oh well, I am still new to the game, and this won't be my last 911. I am just satisfied to be on board in an 09.

The funny thing about this option is even on a 157,000 Turbo, i found one with out the option.

If Porsche thought it was essential, I think it would be standard like Bi Xenon is.

And thank god we have bi xenon. It's superior to low xenon and high beams in halogen.

I have had a few cars with them, and while they do help if you're driving in the country to light the turns up a little and see if any creatures of the night are present in your path, people have gotten by fine for years without them. I think it's more of an option for soccer moms and minivans to help them feel "safer. I have had problems with them in the past on other makes, receiving all kinds of error codes in the HUD about dipped lights, etc. That said, I did select to get them on the car I am about to order because in the end, they're a cool gadget, and I like gadgets.

had them on my Cayenne and worked great. I don't think they are on my new car. Definately not on the M6, it doesn't even have fog lights(seriously).

Have you ever lived before without having Dynamic Cornering Lights?
