As much as I wish I had SC on my PDK, I don't know that I would actually use it beyond a few times just to play with. When I drive hard I like to manually shift my PDK. That said, I would not buy another PDK, the 6-speed manual is more enjoyable for me.

I just picked up my Targa with PDK, no sport chrono. If I ordered the car, I would order it with SC, only because it is not an expensive option. I am leasing, so I can change my mind in 3 years. If you are getting a good deal, take it. All cars depreciate, and certain options don't really affect the trade in price if you are going to a dealer. I find the PDK a great thing in traffic (I tried a car with the sport mode in traffic, and it was very jerky). Enjoy the car you get.
