Wave at a Cayenne? Not....Only wave at 911's and the odd Boxster & maybe a Cayman if they wave first...Hmmm maybe a bad attitude..

This sounds like a 'Metric' vs. Harley Davidson debate on another forum I'm on when it comes to the 'biker wave'

I do remember when I had my 914 and the 924's came on the scene - they never seemed to flash back.
More shame that the Porsche brand has been tarnished with such an ungainly looking vehicle than lack of respect. Can't wave because I am holding my face in my hands.

I should say there was one driver that I was next to that did nod back. So I'm batting .333 which in baseball makes me a hall of famer.
Head-on: Double flash headlights and a wave.
Side-by-side: Wave and/or the peace sign.
Tail-to-head: Wave.

The older drivers seem to get it.

Cayenne drivers don't seem to notice or care so I gave up.

Man you guys are a tough bunch...I'm glad to have a 911 back in the stable. The Cayenne is a great tow vehicle for my motorcycle.

this is one of the dumbest thing that car owners do.

waving? if some dude feels the need to wave at me simply because we plunked down $80k on the same car, I would give him a dirty look and be on my way.

Its also a bit ridiculous to say that owners who don't wave or flash aren't enthusiastic of knowledgeable about the brand.

"Waving": harmless, friendly, connecting with another human-being, adding something mildly positive to one's day
"Giving dirty look, being on your way": none of the above

You may want to consider a Corvette next time.
