Default My A.S.S. Hurts

Anyone ever go so far as to change the contour (have proffessionaly done) of their sports seat to give them more room or to feel more comfy.Since I bought my car over a year ago I have had 2 hip surgeries and am feeling alittle confined.I spoke to a custom seat guy and he said he could shave down the side bolsters and make them wider as well.I will try a seat pad first to see if that does the trick.Just wondering if anyone else has has this issue.
(I know the treadmill is the best solution)

I agree the treadmill is one good approach.
You could also swap with someone who has power seats that might want your ***.

I had a major bicycle accident a few years back which left me with a dislocated hip and a cracked pelvis. I completely recovered, but, post accident, the seats in my 997S dropped my *** too low in relation to the bolsters holding my hips. This made long drives increasingly uncomfortable.
I put a booster pad under my butt, between the side bolsters - problem solved. It's just a piece of tight foam covered with black fabric (not immediately visible on the seat). Very inexpensive fix to what had been an annoying problem.
I agree the stock seats have the bolsters too close together, and too high in relation to where the butt sits. I'm 6'2" and 175 lbs.

Yeah! If they are stone gray, I'll swap for mine.

My favorite interior color. How I wish I had a black/terra interior and was looking for those seats. Those are very rare.

why didn't you order the comfort seats rather than the sport seats if you have hip problems?

That question haunts me.Thought they were more comfortable at the time as they gave more support. Also bought the car off showroom floor so very easy to get sucked right in.! Car is GT silver, Terra interior with carbon fiber. So it was not my *** doing the thinking that day!

Understandable. I assume replacing the sport seats with the comfort seats now (or any other comfortable aftermarket seat) is cost prohibitive? No pun intended, but shaving down the sport seats seems like a half-assed solution.

He probably assumed you had a reason for asking the question.

DHS or Moore's vs. cemented or uncemented replacement, unipolar, bipolar...

Not really helpful in terms of solutions here.
